tenfours.com is operated by Whitcomb Hale LLC, doing business as Tenfours ("Tenfours," "we"), a private company in Richardson, Texas. We are not FMCSA, USDOT or the UCR Plan. This page explains what we collect, why, and how to stop hearing from us.
What we collect
- From the record-check form: your DOT number, your email address, your phone number if you give it, and whether you ticked "OK to text me about my record."
- When you buy: payments are handled by Stripe. We see your name, email, what you bought and the last four digits of your card. We never see or keep your full card number.
- When you write to us: what you send us by email or text.
- Public records: to do your record check and run Watch, we read your carrier's public FMCSA record (authority, insurance on file, BOC-3, MCS-150 date) and whether UCR shows as paid.
We never ask for your Login.gov, FMCSA or UCR password.
Why we emailed you
If we emailed you first, it's because your business email is listed in FMCSA's public carrier census. Reply "stop" and we'll remove it right away.
How we use it
- To do your free record check and send you the results.
- To file UCR with you, and to run Watch if you sign up.
- To answer your questions and tell you when MCS-150 enforcement restarts, if you asked.
- Texts: we text you only if you ticked the "OK to text me" box, or if you texted us first. Ticking it is never required to get the record check or to buy anything. Reply STOP to any text and we'll stop.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your information or share it with anyone for their own marketing.
- This site has no analytics, no advertising trackers and no cookies.
Who helps us
A few service providers handle data for us and only for us: Amazon Web Services (hosting the site and storing form requests), Google Workspace (email), Stripe (payments) and, if you agreed to texts, our text-message provider. We may also share information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Form requests are deleted automatically about 13 months after you send them. Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires.
Your choices
- Emails: reply "stop" to any email.
- Texts: reply STOP to any text.
- Watch: one click on the billing link in any Watch alert, or reply "cancel."
- See or delete your information: email charlie@tenfours.com and we'll answer within 30 days.
